Postamos uma foto de uma receita nossa de frango ao molho de laranja com cebolas, conserva de limão siciliano e alho e deixamos vocês com água na boca. A querida Marina Terra Cruz pediu a receita e não podemos deixar de atender seu pedido.

Esta é uma versão mais leve e saudável do clássico frango com redução de balsâmico, isto porque tiramos a pele e o vinho. Neste caso utilizamos uma conserva de limão siciliano que preparamos há mais de um mês, mas que pode ser substituído por limão siciliano fresco ou laranja bahia fresca.

Vamos ao passo a passo:


  • 500g de sobrecoxa desossada e sem pele;
  • 2 colheres de sopa de azeite para grelhar;
  • 1 limão siciliano em conserva (abaixo tem dica de como preparar) ou 1 limão siciliano fresco ou 1 laranja bahia cortada em gomos – escolher apenas uma opção;
  • Suco de duas laranjas
  • 2 cebolas pequenas – branca ou roxa – corte camponesa (cortar em 4 partes no sentido do comprimento);
  • 4 colheres de sopa de balsâmico;
  • sal e pimenta a gosto;
  • 4 dentes de alho;
  • alecrim seco a gosto.


Ligue o forno e deixe pré-aquecendo em temperatura baixa.

No fogão, aqueça o azeite em uma frigideira de boca bem larga. Coloque o frango e na sequencia adicione sal e pimenta a gosto. Deixe dourar até ficar bem moreninho. Vire, e coloque mais um pouquinho de sal e deixe dourar também.

Agora acrescente as cebolas, o limão ou laranja em pedaços, o suco de laranja, o alho e o alecrim. Refogue por uns 4 minutos. Acrescente o balsâmico e abafe pelo menos tempo. Tire a tampa e continue refogando por mais alguns minutos, até o molho reduzir e ficar mais encorpado. Isto é fundamental para que os sabores incorporem bem no frango.

Em seguida, coloque os pedaços de frango em um refratário, jogue o molho e leve ao forno, agora em temperatura alta (ao menos 280º). Deixe de 15 a 20 minutos.

Se você tiver uma panela ou frigideira que pode ir ao forno pode usar, assim não precisa usar uma frigideira e um refratário. O frango vai fortalecer a cor dourada e, a cebola e o limão ou laranja ficam tostadinhos, mas de modo delicado.

O aroma deste prato é incrível, deixa a cozinha toda perfumada.

Está pronto! Só servir. Pode ser uma saladinha verde com arroz integra.


Para fazer uma conserva de siciliano basta lavar bem os limões, pois utilizaremos com casca e cortar camponesa (4 partes iguais no sentido do comprimento).

Pegue um vidro bem limpo coloque os pedaços de limão, cubra com sal grosso e tampe bem.

Deixe descansar na geladeira. Vai saber quando está pronto quando o sal derreter, vai ficar líquido. Este procedimento leva de uma a dois meses.

Este limão fica muito bom para peixes e frangos assados, cozidosou na brasa.

Antes de utilizar lave bem os pedaços, pois fica bem salgado.
